Skype’ Acquisition: Tough time for Microsoft and Steve Ballmer too!!!!

In its biggest acquisition of Skype in $8.5 billion, Microsoft would be expecting to reinvigorate its business prospects. After facing slow growth in its generic business of software development because of slower growth in PCs segment and rough experience in other business like search engine, smart phone where it lost the ground to Google and Apple, now with Skype’s acquisition-which has 170 million active user base- Microsoft is looking for new Vistas of growth.

What makes this acquisition so special for Microsoft is that it has out-paced Google and Facebook claim which, too, were watering for Skype. Now what makes this ‘relationship’ dicey is the synergy word, which earlier could not be fruitful with eBay who owned 30% stake in Sype. As it was not enough for Microsoft’s woes Google with GoogleVoice and Apple with Apple’s Facetime are ready to give tough challenge to Microsoft in this new vertical of ‘voice business’.

If we go by potential synergy, Facebook with its strong base of 700 million+ users who might be the huge beneficiary of this Voice-over-Internet service and Google with its existing similar service named Google Voice (though in the U.S.A still) should have been the ‘rational’ acquirer. But the money quotient of ‘meager’ $3.4 billion purposed (as per market speculation) was not attractive enough for Skype’s shareholder to be fallen in the hand of Mark Zuckerberg or Sergey Bin for that matter.

Google has missed the second opportunity after Groupon- where it bid for this deal-of-the-day-site at $6 billion, which is now going to be the $25 billion entity once it will come up with its most waited IPO as per market analysts.

Now I am very sure about the leadership of Larry Page and Sergey Bin as they are successfully diversifying Google while keeping its dominance in search business too, but the stewardship of Steeve Balmer has keeping destroying the share, margin, market cap and revenue of Microsoft since he has been heading the world’s biggest software giant. Steve Ballmer replaced Bill Gates as CEO of the Microsoft in 2000, at that time the company’s market cap was $586.2 billion making it the top companies in the world. But to any surprise in the ten year since Ballmer is heading the Microsoft, its M-Cap in first quarter of 2011 was only $238.99 billion.

Consider APPLE, which did not even manage to grab a place in the top 500 list based on the Mkt-Cap in 2000. And to its investor’s delight and analysts’ surprise, it has immensely grown over decade even surpassed the Microsoft with Mkt-cap of as per January, 2011 a whopping $300 billion.

So this is not about the Skype’s future, or for that matter Google, Facebook, or Apple’s, it is the question of shareholder’s money of Microsoft and capabilities of Ballmer how he is going to milk this Skype to arrange the more tasty bread-and-butter not only for its investors but employees too!!!!

RamJethMalani: A man whose professionalism is costing heavy to country

This is the story of contradictory professional-cum-moral dilemma of one of the most prominent lawyer of country. He is the epitome of how one's evil breed the contagious evil-breed in the country and become the termite or silent-killer who destroy the delicate fabric of society by their illogical misdemeanor and misdeed.

He is one of the most prominent & highly paid lawyer of India. During 1960s he defended the smuggler and established his image as “smuggler lawyer”, defended Indira Gandhi’s killer, relentlessly defended two most notorious scamester Harshad Mehta & Ketan Parekh, defended LK Advani in Hawala Scam (the mother of all money-laundering in India), fought for two political kids Mannu Sharma (Jaisica Lal) and Amit Jogi both accused of murder case and as it was less he too defended underworld don Haji Mastan and death sentence of Afzal Guru!!!!!!!

Now he is rendering his professional expertise to defend DMK leader Kanimozhi in 2G Scam!!!

I HAVE no ISSUES IF HE DOES IT ONLY FOR HIS PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL CALL BUT I CAN’T BEAR IT WHEN HE SEEKS MORALITY FROM OTHERS.

In a session during August 2010 on topic "Parliament and Political Culture" he said "Corruption in politics and courts has lead to the downfall of the country. Transparency in politics and governance should be maintained."

What a farce a person who in his entire life defended the corrupt, scamester, criminals and murderers speaking to denigrate corruption?!!?

Nowadays on Sunday in “The Indian Express” weekly column he is writing how it has become inevitably imperative to put ‘governance’ on line and make system clean, transparent and decriminalized.

Just have a read on his take-on on such nefariously controversial cases he has fight for :

"I decide according to my conscience who to defend. A lawyer who refuses to defend a person on the grounds that people believe him to be guilty is himself guilty of professional misconduct."

And I hope on same ground ‘behave as according to their own conscience’ all the ill-minded people did their ‘pious’ job….. what Harshad Mehta did, Haji Mastan did, killer of Indira Gandhi did, AFZAL GURU did and A.Raja did by arbitrary accepting and rejecting the proposal of telecos that lead to 2G Scam!!!!!!!!!!!!

The professionals like Ram Jethmalani and like others are the people with ‘hyper-active-conscience’ that led to crisis after crisis, crime after crime and scams after scams………

In their ‘active-time’ they earn every thing and at the time of ‘expiry-date’ they become moral-preacher, torch-bearer for truth, transparency and tranquility…. Who they are and who gave them right to first do everything to spoil and then ask from others to sacrifice to cleanse the system WHICH THEY NEVER WANT!!!!

It is there professional misconduct who let the criminals and corruption let thrive; it is the result of their conscience to defend the explicitly-involved criminal who let the other people pursue the evils as they know people like Ram JethMalani will come for their rescue.

Why RamJethMalani can’t refuse to defend such explicitly involved criminals?

Let not these be number only: Demographic Dividend or Population Liability

The provisional data of 15th National Census Report has been issued by the Regitrat Registrar General of India and Census Commissioner C Chandramauli on 31st March 2011. This mammoth exercise of compiling the nation-wide data is of great importance not only for government, policy makers, marketers to formulate policies, allocate funding et al but it is equally important for business entities, institutions and individuals.

From previous census 2001 which numbered the population of India 1.02 billion has now reached to 1.21 billion as per latest release by the Census Report 2011, adding 181 million (18.1 crore) during the decade 2001-2011. The population mix of nation which is now home to 17.5% of world population comprising of 623.7 million male and586.5 million females is now equal to combine population of many countries like United States (300.8 million), Indonesia (237.5 million), Brazil (190.7 million), Pakistan (170.6 million), Bangladesh (164.4 million) and Japan (127.9 million) put together.

Various interesting facts are coming from the latest report like two leading Indian states- Uttar Pradesh (199 million people) and Maharashtra (112.3 million) has more population than the leading country of the world i.e. United States (300.8 million)

Literacy rate has been improved during this ten year gap from 64 to 74 – this means almost 74 percent of Indians are now literate. As far as state wise literacy rates are concern Kerala has the #1 rank with 93.91% followed by Lakshadweep at 92.28 percent. Bihar is at the bottom of the ladder with literacy rate of 63.82 followed by Arunachal Pradesh at 66.95.

Few good things that are quiet evident from this provisional data that literacy rate has been improved from 64% to 74% , overall female’s sex ratio has improved, from 933 to 940 women for 1000 men and the ,MOST important thing is that swelling population growth rate has been come down to 3.90% from previous 21.54% to 17.64% during this decade. And this is a very positive sign for a nation who has 2.4% of world’s surface area to accommodate the 17.5% of the entire population and of which around 40% live below the poverty line in a very deprived conditions.

As per the 15th National Census Report we have added more than18 crore people which means population of Brazil added to India which itself is the fifth most populous country of the world. All such startling data which started to float from now will keep us shocked, mused, distressed, cheer and confused is the outcome of the exercise which commenced in April 2010, with 2.5 million officials traveling across the nation to reach more than 600,000 villages and 7,000 towns and cities.

Now the big opportunity for India is to harness this unique asset of ‘demographic dividend’ from 1.21 billion numbers. We must now act swiftly with good approach, progressive attitude, pragmatic policies and solution-oriented focus before this ‘demographic dividend’ become population liability.

The Pusuit of Basics 2: Let it be game please!!

Right after few hours, the whole nation and other part of world will be in the grip of cricket between most expected rival-cum-neighbor teams - India v/s Pakistan. After all this is the semi-final match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. Both the teams which are going to test their prowess and fortune at Mohali Cricket stadium have been the epitome of war-like game completely dipped in the nationalistic fervor. And this makes such rare occasion in the most awaited moment where everybody wants to cash out such a once in blue moon chance. Cricket fans are trying no stone unturned to be the part of this match to cheer their players at any cost and paying up to 5 figure for mere a ticket of 250/. Everyone from all possible walks of life has reserved their precious time for this match keeping aside all the possible work for tomorrow and so on. Most companies has announced half day for their employees. No body wants to miss out this match. Wow!!!

All things seem so good, and the cricket crazy nation is fully enamored, praying, fasting, special worshiping (hawan) for the Indian team. Beat the Pak Dhoni ke Jiyalo! Me, too, wish for Indian victory. But what has kept me disturbing for last few days, the invitation of our Prime Minister to Pakistani counterpart to watch the cricket with him at Mohali on Indian soil. And with no surprise he has accepted it ‘cordially’. Now the cricket as a game becomes the cricket diplomacy. Cricket diplomacy -to use the cricket pitch to improve the age old rivalry, misunderstanding and meliorate the harsh relation between India and Pakistan- would hardly work for the political leaders, diplomats, and policy makers who have been constantly responsible for making the situation worse occasionally. Pacts, summits, diplomatic dialogue, secretariat-level discussion…..what all these had brought…nothing but more intricacies…. So what these genius holy-cow of political corridors want to prove by a game, or players who are no doubt playing good and fulfill their duties. As I earlier stated in my previous post “Do We Do Our Best”- This time we can say how best our political leaders are as compare to players like Sachin, who is simplifying the cricket shot after shot and not making it complicated. Situation surely has been different if these holy cows of political and diplomatic arena acted responsibly much before to their best. And they then, need not to look for a cricket match as a lever to push their stigma for next level.

Why this has been constantly repeating, while knowing that such ‘goodwill gestures’ are hardly of any help to solve out the complexities created by the hard core political leaders and diplomats? We all know that there is an unparallel hype, frenzy and craziness being created by the crazy-cricket lovers, and media; so why unnecessarily put extra pressure and tension on players by such ‘cricket diplomacy’?

Now this high profile watch-out has created an additional layer of match ’prediction’ after fixer (bookie), and ICC ‘arrangement’ which is evidently pro-corporation. And for me the first one concern is quiet enough to kill the game adventure rather than second and third. Because second one seems to acceptable which hardly has nothing to do with match decision, while third and last one has design so meticulously and neatly that it is hard to extrapolate how it can affect the results and whose favor.

Simple this game that has expectedly become the virtual fortress guarded by Special Weapons and Tactics team (SWT), NSG commandos, SPG, local police & private security men along with anti-aircraft guns placed at strategic locations around the stadium is no longer a game but a diplomatic ‘playground’ for political honchos.

I wish, despite of India’s heavy-side (as per previous WC stats as India won all the match played between India and Pakistan 4-0), staggering betting turnover of 6,000 crore (earlier was only 2,600 crore a per media reports), and ‘irresponsible’ statements-cum-warning by Pakistani Interior minister Rehman Malik that MATCH SHOULD WIN BY MEN IN BLUE after a solid testing of formidable Indian batting line up against a penetrative Pakistani bowling attack BUT NOT AS GIFT OF ‘CRICKET DIPLOMACY’!!!

The Pursuit of Basics: Why millions of people sleep hungry everyday and millions will?

What could be more ironical and shameful to the world’s second largest populous country (in terms of population), world’s fourth biggest economy (in terms of PPP), and an emerging superpower (as recent Citi reports indicated that India could surpass US by 2050) that being an agrarian country despite all the pro-farmer and pro-poor government sponsored schemes the agriculture sector of India is in miserable state. No one can deny the fact that we need development, we need infrastructure, we need employment, we need growth rate but what is rather and more important is that we need water to drink, food to eat, air to breathe. This is really remarkable that we as a nation emerged as a global economic power in mere span of 20 years, ever since we opened our economy for world and embraced the theme of Liberalization, Privatization, and Globalization. Since than, our country has captured all the leading index and indicators of growth which foreign investors look at prima facie before putting their money. Country’s growth rate has been between 6-7% on an average and even at 8% while whole world is reeling under worst financial crisis. And all this growth is mainly driven by service sector which accounts for 56% of the GDP followed by industrial sector (28%) and then agriculture sector (18%).

A nation where 17 % of world’s people live which means one out of six people on this planet has its home in India. What is important to note is every year India adds more people than any other nation in the world- as we are adding a new Australia every year or our Uttar Pradesh is equivalent to Brazil (another emerging economy of the world). We also boast of having favorable demographic dividend (65% of total population fall below the age of 35). All these number are compelling for investors and multinationals who interpret them as huge market for their investment, products and services.

But what interpretations and impressions do these number makes for a nation whose 70% people make their livelihood through agriculture (as 70% of Indian lives in rural areas) high inflation (particularly food inflation) squeezing out the middle-class and common people (just imagine the plight of 26% people living Below the Poverty Line), perennial unemployment haunting badly to rural youth (150 million rural unemployed people).

Once touted as food-provider (aandata), today is crying on its plight. Last year almost 18,000 farmer committed suicide and the figure is staggering if we include the suicidal case of last five years. For some people it seems only a chest-thumping exercise as for them there is handsome price consumer is paying for the farmer product (crop). For instance wheat floor is being sold @ 18 p/kg, sugar @ 34 p/kg, and onion @ 25 p/kg et al. But the price hike at any time hardly benefited the farmer and also farmer is consumer too, for rest of other commodities other than what he produces. These are the middle-men, traders, speculators, hoarders who are responsible to push the entire nation into the nightmare because of their untamed greed. As agriculture is not yielding remunerative income, the life of farmers is becoming desperate - look at input cost from machines to labor, seed to fertilizers and pesticides- forcing many of the debt-ridden farmers to commit suicide as a last resort. Such disappointment from one of the biggest and crucial sector has various ramifications and adding many woes at macro-economic level like migration to cities, increasing urban slums et al. It is not only farmers but also the dalits and tribal, who heavily depend on agriculture.

Since 1991 reforms, agriculture sector constantly facing the blunt ignorance of policy-makers. The most prominent result of this was drastic decline in the growth rate of food grain and stagnation in the agricultural growth rate. During the same time population growth rate and GDP growth rate constantly keep growing. And diversion of arable land for urbanization, industrialization becomes the prime agenda of government. As I said earlier that we all need development but at the same time this is the duty of government to make a balance and give Food, Shelter, Home, Health and Employment to all its people as they too deserve for a quality well-being.

But with misplaced priorities and misleading agendas to benefit only handful people, government with its SEZ policy, is adamant to put the future of billion people on stake. On the name of infrastructure development the single-source of livelihood (as far as farmer is concerned) and food (as far as shrewd politician and greedy business are concern, too) is ruthlessly snatched away from the farmers. Agricultural lands are now being converted into housing plots and are converted into cities and towns. This has increased the pressure on agriculture. What worst could be for a country with 8+% growth rate (mainly from industrialization) who is going to feed the 17% of worlds population with 7% of total land that too with 1.5% population growth rate while agriculture growth rate is stagnated since long time?

With their populist scheme like loan waiver, low interest based loans, minuscule buget allotment for so-called forthcoming Green Revolution 2.0 et al, presenting as pro-farmer and pro-poor, pretend to be more focus on agriculture sector and concern for aam-aadmi as both of these are the vote bank for them. A government equipped with top economists and IMF veterans entwined itself into the intellectual inertia. With two successive period if our economist PM fails to understand the very nature of national economy and deliver no concrete proposal for agriculture sector which is the backbone of Indian economy and will remain be despite all his hysteria towards FDI, he deserve to be dethrone. At the time when nation was paying 80+ for 1 kg onion these economists said shamelessly that they don’t have magic wand to moderate the prices. Don’t they know what structural and supply-side driven inflation is? Aren’t they aware that this sector which directly touches the life of billion+ populations is highly dependent on monsoon for irrigation? Aren’t they aware that country is in dire need of agricultural reform (Green Revolution 2.0) but they slyly chanting the financial reform only - which benefited few millions people? If the answer of these simple yet obvious question is yes then why they didn’t come up with radical farm sector reform despite of having all the financial and political mathematics in their favor?

My simple observation is that prices will keep hike (worldwide) if we are not going to check our population and make a fine balance between development and future of our people. We have limited resources (at national and global level) which can not meet our ever-growing greed. Somewhere we need to ask at what extent we can destroy (forest), plunder (mines), pollute (air, & water) and develop building and infrastructure (arable land)? After all we all have faced the bruise and heat of ‘global financial meltdown’ which was the outcome of irresponsible financial engineering (Securitisation et al), short-term-profit-driven-institution and investors who put the economy of whole world on stake. Now this time obsession for urbanization, industrialization and modernization is putting all the perfect combination to push the country, and world too, on the verge of unprecedented food crisis.

Are we ready with unprecedented approach and attitude to combat this threat?

S Band: A secret story sought to covered up over 6 years

It was a great ploy intelligently crafted and then unwillingly broken declared ‘annulled’. All the top notch people and esteemed institutions were instrumental in making this episode crucial, juicy and dramatic. Prime minister office as usual tried to shrug off the onus of this issue. One of the most reputed organizations – Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) was in the helm of the entire episode. Even the role of foreign institutions and investors involvement added all due elements to elevate the seriousness of the matter. And as this issue is comes under the jurisdiction and direct supervision of Prime minister – which has already earned the reputation of Silence/Weak/Compromising PM- and his complete unawareness from the license allotment add woe to his government which earnestly proved itself to be the most corrupt, tainted, & irresponsible government country has ever saw. The amount which is presume as a loss to exchequer is staggering 2, 00, 000, 000, 000, 00 or $32 billion  or simply 2 lakh crore, making it the biggest scam ever happened in India.

S band spectrum scam which emerged as the biggest scam in the country was the outcome of unfair and opaque (back-door) policy opted by government and allotted the valuable and scarce asset at throwaway prices to a Bangalore based private company Devas Multimedia. The S band is the part of frequency spectrum ranging between 2 GHz- 4 GHz. And what makes this airwave frequency so crucial is its usage for the satellite communication and other sophisticated purposes like security and high-end technological applicability in WiMax and LTE, other than basic mobile services.

Though the estimated loss of 2 lakh crore is calculated by Comptroller Auditor General (CAG), which earlier estimated the 2G spectrum scandal as 1.76 lakh crore to the exchequer. Later Kapil Sibbal has declared this estimate as highly erroneous. God knows what if Kapil shab again given chance to defend government what he would say? Utterly ridiculous!!!!

Government worldwide used to make billions of dollars by putting such waves on auction and inviting bid in a highly competitive process. Last year Indian government earned more than 1 lakh crore rupee by selling Broadband and 3G spectrum in a competitive auction. This money is now a cushion to the UPA-2 government to meet all its populist and so-called pro-people flagship schemes.

Just have a look to the other aspect of this S Band spectrum scandal. Recently 20 MHz of spectrum was given to two state owned company BSNL and MTNL at 12,847 crore for offering broadband spectrum. And as per the media reports Devas Multimedia was awarded with 70 MHz in the same band with just 1,350 crore.

Though the entire paperwork related to the license allotment has fianlised in Jan 28, 2005 when ISRO by its commercial wing Antrix granted a contract to a small start-up firm Devas Multimedia without proper bidding process. But the entire issue came to surface only recently when a leading business newspaper published the CAG observation in which he had questioned the manner in which ISRO-Antrix rented out transponders to Devas.

The worth of S-band telecom spectrum is in billions of dollars to communication providers. While S-band is not in intensive use but likely to become increasingly valuable in India’s growing mobile phone market with its ability to provide wireless broadband and other mobile data services.  And this is the reason why a Bangalore start-up Devas Multimedia by MG Chandrasekhar, a former scientific secretary at ISRO attracted the foreign investors. The company’s three major investors Deutsche Telekom Asia, Columbia Capital/Devas Mauritius and Telecom Devas Mauritius, holds 53 per cent of the stake in the company. The deal which now has declared as annulled by Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) would have given Devas a back-door policy to highly monetizeble S-band spectrum. Strategically importance spectrum became the blue-eyed cash rich spot for capitalist investor’s greedy-eagle eye.

Now everything seems to be set in right manner as government has scrapped the deal but few questions remain unanswered:-

Ø      Why the ISRO-Antrix has allotted the license to a start-up founded in 2004 without any bidding process of such a scarce national assets that too without PMO approval?

Ø      Who set the price of 70 MHz spectrum at 1350 crore rupees on Jan 28 2005 for the deal              as it is only after 2008 an airwaves price has got high evaluation?

Ø      Why government has took almost 7 months to scrap the deal though Space Commission                has recommended to cancel the deal on July 2, 2010?

Ø      Why if Space Commission has raised its eyebrow on the deal despite of canceling it Prime               minister and government was denying any of such scandal till recently?

SMALL FACT ABOUT THE BIG PICTURE

Founder and Chairman of Devas Multimedia

Dr. Chandrasekhar has over 35 years of experience in satellite services with leading institutions. He served as Scientific Secretary and Member of Apex Management Council, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) (1988-1997). Prior to that, he joined ISRO in 1973 and held various senior techno-managerial positions and played a key role in developing IRS and INSAT programmes and operating its fleet of satellites.

President and CEO of Devas Multimedia

Ramachandran Vishwanathan is  a veteran of 20 years in the internet and satellite communications space — sectors that are controlled tightly by the government. He has studied engineering at Stanford and finance and marketing at MIT Sloan. He worked with McKinsey and Goldman Sachs before he signed up with WorldSpace. Ram’s next job was as chief strategy and corporate development officer at Cidera, a leader in broadband Internet content distribution. He was next seen as the managing director of Forge Advisors, a strategic consultancy and technology incubator.

DevasMultimedia, a startup in Bangalore, was founded in 2004 to set up a national satellite system for delivering applications for rural development, e-governance, emergency communications, remote connectivity and strategic services, according to the company's website.

Final note:-

News are floating in political and bureaucratic corridors that the inside information on the contract that is now in the public domain came from a senior bureaucrat and relative of the first family of Tamil Nadu with sole motive to shift attention from the 2G scam and the role of the former telecom minister A.Raja to the prime minister; a move that could drive a bigger wedge between the already strained relations between the DMK and the Congress. The dubious role of the bureaucrat in revealing classified information about the Isro/Antrix-Devas contract — which cannot be accessed through the Right to Information Act — and thereby, whipping up a smear campaign against the prime minister, who holds the portfolio of space and the organisation.

People and institutions directly came in picture during this whole uproar Mr. Manmohan Singh, Law Minister Veerappa Moiley, ISRO, Space Commission, PMO, Cabinet Committee on Security, Department of Space, Defense Minister A.K.Anatony, Antrix, Devas Multimedia, Three major Foreign Investors.

Keep a close look on the blog for detailed and thorough picture of seemingly small news.

Should We Need To Change Our Opinion For Common Wealth Games?!!!

A lot has been written on Common Wealth Games which we hosting in our national capital city. All the bad mouthing , rebuke, sacrilege, and condemnation which we can throw on the Organizing Committee and other person related directly or indirectly to the games has been done. Wishes, or better say 'curses' had made by Mr. Mani Shankar Aiyyar not to meet the successful completion of this grand event; intellectuals, individuals have had same vocal opine too. I am, too, is a very vocal critique of this game from the very beginning as the issues of labor exploitation, lethargic approach of machinery towards such a sensitive and mega event which is supposed to reflect the status of our country as a Super Power & Growing Economy, plundering of national resources has never been done ever before by putting national grace on ransom- by deliberately delaying the construction and other work to make mammoth money in last.
Nexus of Contractors, politicians, bureaucrats, and negligence of monitoring & administrative agencies orchestrated this event to make it flop.
But i would like to mention here the words of our Sports Minister Mr. Gill that in the end we will make it like, as Indians, finally manage to host a successful Marriage.

How can we forget the negative publicity of our local, regional, and national print & electronic media has done? All FM channels exclusively broadcast bite to 'expose' the CWG preparation. International media left no stone unturned to condemn India's reputation. BUT IN SPITE OF IFS & BUTS IT WAS NECESSARY IN A DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY LIKE US. And I personally admire my system to give real freedom to express our views, thoughts and opinion---uncensored!!!!

Kudos to the labors, volunteers and other literally low profile people who has made the OPENING CEREMONY so successful which has fetch the applauds -then and there for the India. International media has given all the positive reporting after watching the opening ceremony. I was really touched and impressed that finally India is reflecting its 'pink-image'. On the other hand the glow on the face of Suresh Kalmadi reflecting his confidence to meet the deadlines handsomely, contrast to it, the expression of other people in VVIP stand proving at what cost!!!

I am the staunch believer in the potential of India. And people of India has proved it again that physically, financially and technically we are strong and capable enough to achieve impossible herculean task. Message is clear if utilized properly our untrained people can built world class infrastructure. And if not done, in any case, we have our own jugaad to make that happen...........

Now what about the tax payer money, plundering of COMMON WEALTH loot, scamps, throwing the national resources to make (an island) Delhi as the TOKEN of India's development-that to partially, negligence of national & Delhi's political and administrative people, environmental damage to Delhi, not nurturing national sports talent, and list is long. Nepotism in the Organizing Committee by Suresh Kalmadi, giving tenders to favorite companies on the sky-rocketing prices needs some rewards too.
Simple Question like :-

  • Why the initial budget of few hundred crores reached to more than lakh crores?
  • Why if we get approval to host 19 CWG in 2003 we were not ready to host the game till September 2010?
  • Why our honorable PM and their ministerial team fail to show any interest in the CWG preparation until when it was not vehemently exposed by media?
  • Why there was not any timely audit, check or monotoring being done by CBI, CVC or other agency?
  • Why we have foolishly dig out all our national capital?
  • Who and why planned to throw all the beggars and laborers outside the Delhi? Aren't they the stakeholder of national development?
  • WHY WE ARE CELEBRATING THE LEGACY OF BRITISH IMPERIALISM EVEN WE HAD BEEN PLUNDERED BY THEM ALMOST FOR 200 YEARS?
  • Why we have enough money to feed the greed of shrewd individual & perfection to hide their heinous crime, but not a money to empower the poor people- on their education, health and shelter?

We Are Consistently Making Our Leading Presence on Human Development Index but from the bottom sharing rank with Somalia, Sudan and other least African developing contries.

Well point here is to notice is that we can achieve everything and I am quiet satisfied by the performance of our athletes as they have won 4 gold and several silver & bronze in various category.

Hope our athletes made us proud like the neglected hero of this CWG ceremony at the end. There is an urgent need to change our outlook towards our 'hidden' & 'take for granted' talent. Our policymaker should invest more enthusiastically than CWG to nurture the world-class people who tirelessly did their job to make this event happen. We need to change our opinion about our delaying approach..............oh no ....... its not in our blood but it is external and given right environment we can change the IMAGE. And what about Common Wealth........ just give damn condemn to it and look for the future which belongs to us. Yes, its true, if can do it.......we can do this toooooo!
